The Hydroptère crew arrived safely in the USA

On Wednesday 22nd May Alain Thébault, Jean Le Cam and Jacques Vincent joined Yves Parlier and the rest of the technical team already in San Francisco, where the "flying boat" is moored at the Marina Bay in Richmond.

Alain Thébault and Hydroptere will conquer the Pacific

On Wednesday 17th April, in the Parisian workshop of the architect Jean Nouvel, Alain Thébault and his teammates Jean Le Cam and Yves Parlier announced the continuation of the ocean program for Hydroptere. In a few weeks, they will try to beat the record of the Transpacific crossing between Los Angeles and Honolulu.

Congratulations Jean !

Jean Le Cam has just completed a new world tour and imperially takes the fifth place in the Vendée Globe Race in exactly 88 days. "King Jean" will be a crewmember of l'Hydroptère  for the Pacific record attempt next summer.

Hydroptere is coming to San Francisco !

The fastest sailing boat in the world, Hydroptere, is currently flying up the Pacific Coast to San Francisco to visit the America’s Cup and the world’s top sailors.

The boat is taking a few days off from preparing to break the speed record from Los Angeles to Honolulu. Full details on arrival timing, photo, video and interview opportunities coming soon.
